WoodGal's Shoebox Woodie Wagon

This 1946 Ford Super Deluxe has an unusual history.  It was special-ordered for a Mexican government official and sold May 31, 1947 by a dealership in Mexico for MX$10,943 (pesos).  It stayed south of the border for many years and was driven very little.  Eventually it was acquired by Sea World in San Diego and was displayed there, inside Dave’s Surf Shop, for eight years.  Steve and Jeanette Early purchased it from Sea World with the odometer reading just 96,000 kilometers.  Miraculously, the original invoice was still in the car. Then it became a one of the hot car for beach boys and girls and the surf boys of CA, & LA in the 1950’s and 1960’s.  But its one of the USA classic so enjoy the woody.
